GOLD CAP & GOWN PICK-UP INFORMATION
For THOSE WHOSE CAPS & GOWNS WERE NOT SHIPPED TO THEIR HOMES!
Dear Class of 1974!
You are receiving this email because the gold cap & gown you ordered has arrived at the Alumni House! Your packet includes a gown, cap, stole and chord (if ordered); please check your packet for all of the items and fit before leaving the Alumni House.
PICK-UP SCHEDULE:
Monday - Wednesday (May 6-8 and 13-15) 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM only. The Alumni House will be closed on dates not listed for meetings and other events.
If you are unable to pick-up during the posted dates/times, you may have someone pick it up for you; but contact Kendra Moore (kendra.moore@morgan.edu) to let her know who will sign for your packet.
All gowns must be picked up by Wednesday, May 15 at 3:00 PM - no exceptions. The Office of Alumni Relations will not be available on Thursday or Friday in order to prepare for Alumni Day.
To prepare for commencement remember the following:
>> Do NOT wash or iron the gown or the stole.
>> To remove wrinkles, remove from the packaging and let them hang for a couple of days.
>> Remember to pack both the cap & gown when coming to campus. There are no extras on-site.
>>Everyone participating in the procession must be gowned and lined up by 9:15 on the first floor of the student center.
>> Dress for the weather
